On Friday, July 10, 2026, the guest of the show „Pirg“ on the programme „Glas“ (“The Voice”) of the Diocese of Niš was catechist Branislav Ilić. As part of the conversation led by journalist Sandra Subotić, catechist Branislav spoke about the importance of the Church’s mission on the Internet.
While appearing on the show „Pirg“, catechist Branislav emphasized that the Lord blesses and rewards every good deed, especially those deeds that are an expression of our service to the Church. In this spirit, the mission of the Church is always a blessed deed, it is an evangelical deed that implies perseverance and effort, so that the seed finds fertile soil in the souls of people.
The guest of Sandra Subotić emphasized that the Church adapts to the needs of modern man over time, and one of the important testimonies that this is so is the fruitful missionary activity of the Church using modern information technologies. The Internet has become a kind of virtual pulpit from which we preach the word of God’s love. He emphasized that missionary activity on social networks helps the word of God to reach young people in particular.
At the end of the conversation, the guest of Radio „Glas“ of the Diocese of Niš expressed his gratitude, placing his hope in the Lord that in the time ahead, missionary activity using modern information technologies will also bear new spiritual fruits, always testifying to the beauty of communion with the Lord, all the saints and our neighbours.
