“The Church is the house of the living God, the pillar and foundation of Truth.” (1 Tim 3:15). Christian Truth is preserved within the Church through Holy Scripture and Holy Tradition, but it must also be safeguarded and interpreted correctly. The significance of the Holy Fathers lies in their role as the most capable guardians and interpreters of this Truth – through the sanctity of their lives, their profound knowledge of the Word of God, and the abundant grace of the Holy Spirit dwelling within them.
Following this sacred principle, the missionary portal Kinonia will enrich its work with a new project titled “From the Patristic Treasury.” This initiative has been entrusted to students of theological seminaries of the Serbian Orthodox Church, who actively participate in the Church’s missionary work.
Through the project, visitors to our portal will have the opportunity to read excerpts from the sermons and writings of the Holy Fathers and Teachers of the Church.
Starting Tuesday, December 24, 2024, content from this project will be published every Tuesday and Thursday on our portal and will also be available on our official Facebook page.
