The Missionary Department of the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovci and the portal “Kinonia”, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the said portal are organizing a discussion panel on the topic: “Kinonia – A Call to Community”. The panel will be held in the parish hall of the Church of the Holy Prophet Elijah in the Belgrade neighborhood of Mirijevo, on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
Participants of the discussion panel:
• Protopresbyter Dr. Slobodan Jakovljević, parish priest of Čačak and permanent associate of the portal “Kinonia”;
• Protopresbyter Aleksandar Jevtić, parish priest of Kraljevo, editor of the newspaper of the Diocese of Žiča “Žički blagovesnik” and a permanent contributor to the portal “Kinonia”;
• Dr. Aleksandra Aničić, psychiatrist and a permanent contributor to the portal “Kinonia”;
• Moderator: Ms. Sanja Anđelković Lubardić, editor-in-chief of Hram television.
Before the start of the discussion panel, the opening speech will be delivered by the venerable presbyter Dr. Oliver Subotić, director of the Missionary Department of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovci.
With their gentle voices, the gathering in honour of the second anniversary of the missionary portal “Kinonia” will be graced by the Savić sisters from the Diocese of Zvornik-Tuzla.
At the end, the assembly will be greeted with words of gratitude by the catechist Branislav Ilić, editor of the portal “Kinonia”, under whose missionary tutelage the word of God’s love has been fervently preached for the past two years.
The assembly will be crowned with the presentation of letters of thanks to prominent collaborators and friends of the portal “Kinonia”.

Following the need for more concrete missionary activity through information technologies, on the feast of the beginning of the Indiction – the Church New Year and on the day of the sacred memory of the Venerable Simeon the Stylite, 1/14 September 2024, the portal Kinonia was launched at the online address: https://kinonija.rs. Kinonia is the first missionary project within the Missionary Department of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovci, which operates with the blessing of His Holiness the Patriarch of Serbia, Mr. Porfirije. The conceptual creator of the entire project and the editor of the missionary portal Kinonia is the Novi Sad catechist Branislav Ilić, a permanent expert associate of the Section for Parish Mission of the Missionary Department of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovci. The name of the missionary portal Kinonia testifies to its primary goal, which is missionary activity and directing people to communion with the Lord, all the saints and with each other in the Holy Liturgy (Eucharist). Permanent associates, authors of texts and other contributions are bishops, priests, catechists, theologians, as well as scientific researchers in the fields of philosophy, history, culture, music, fine arts, etc. The Kinonia Missionary Portal carries out its missionary work through the written and living word, and the basis of this task is to preach the Gospel and the uncorrupted teaching of the Church, with the aim of directing everyone through its mission and actions towards a life of grace in the Church of Christ, that is, towards the Mystery of mysteries – the Holy Liturgy.
